Itinerary

Day 1: South Africa - Arusha

Depart from Johannesburg/ Cape Town to Nairobi, Kenya. Arrive in Nairobi and connect with the flight to Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha, Tanzania.

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located an approximate 45-minute drive from the airport, near Arusha town centre.

Upon arrival at the hotel you will be welcomed to Tanzania with a “bean-to-cup” coffee estate tour. The Tour takes place within the grounds of the Lodge, which itself is located within one of Tanzania’s largest coffee estates. Weaving in and out of the evergreen coffee bushes, the Coffee Guide explains how the bean is nurtured, harvested, dried and finally roasted to produce a myriad of different blends that sate the taste of the most ardent of coffee connoisseurs. Finally, guests are treated to a tasting.

Following a delicious lunch on the estate, you will check into your rooms and may spend the afternoon at leisure before meeting for a group welcome dinner.
