Overview

Travel to Jordan from 14 to 21 April 2020 with Live the Journey. Set in the rocky desert on the east bank of the Jordan River, this Arab region played a prominent role in biblical history. The early biblical kingdoms of Moab, Gilead, and Edom lie within its borders, as does the famed archaeological site of Petra, the ‘Rose City’; a Nabatean capital dating to around 300 BC, carved into the surrounding pink sandstone cliffs.

Our 08-day tour includes all the wonders of this ancient land. Besides exploring archaeological treasures like Jerash, Ajloun, Umm Qais, Umm Rases and Madaba (to name a few), we also overnight in the desert wilderness of the Wadi Rum, discover the Red Sea city of Aqaba, float in the Dead Sea and marvel at the modern wonder that is ancient Amman.
