Overview

Travel to Jordan from 07 to 14 September 2024 with Live the Journey.

Set in the rocky desert on the east bank of the Jordan River, this Arab region played a prominent role in biblical history. The early biblical kingdoms of Moab, Gilead, and Edom lie within its borders, as does the famed archaeological site of Petra, the ‘Rose City’; a Nabatean capital dating to around 300 BC, carved into the surrounding pink sandstone cliffs.

Our 08-day tour we include all the wonders of this ancient land. Besides exploring archaeological treasures like Jerash, Ajloun, Umm Qais, Umm Rases and Madaba (to name a few), we also learn to cook like a local, overnight in the desert wilderness of the Wadi Rum, discover the Red Sea city of Aqaba, float in the Dead Sea and marvel at the modern wonder that is ancient Amman.

A visa is issued on arrival for South African passport holders, so all the more reason not to miss out on this captivating tour to Jordan!
