Betsie Stander.

Angola Sightseeing (4 x 4)(family)(camping)(catered)
Angola, land of mystery .. in many minds a war torn country with oil riches, but in fact it has so much more to offer. The contrasting landscape differs from desert vegetation along the coast to more tropical lush greens and high mountains in the interior. The people are friendly and we prefer the off roads that take us to off-the-beaten-track gems.
18 April - 03 May
Tailor-made
Live the Journey can also tailor-make Angola 4 x 4 overland tours. |

Ethiopia is the land of coffee, churches, crosses and cultures. It is an amazing tourist destination, but not many people realise this. Walk through the narrow passages from one rock-hewn church to the next and inevitably it is difficult to imagine that this wonder was carved out of rock by humans in the 12th century. The coffee ceremonies are relaxing and colourful and the countryside with lakes, high mountains and green pastures an unexpected surprise.
10 - 20 May
If you would like to visit the many different cultures in the Omo Valley or experience the Danakil Depression, the lowest spot in Africa, or enjoy a private historical route tour - contact us for assistance. |

Great Apes...Rwanda & Uganda
There are approximately 700 mountain gorillas still in the wild. The majority of them are in the mountains of Rwanda and Uganda. Few things are as thrilling as sitting high up in the mountains close to a gorilla group ... watching their behaviour. This is a unique experience as limited numbers of gorilla permits are issued per day. These countries also offer magnificent scenery, a variety of monkeys including the golden monkey and different bird species. We offer private tours every month of the year - Contact us to assist with scheduled or private tours. |

This is a brand new concession route! Commencing in Swakopmund the route follows the coastline northwards to the mouth of the Cunene River. Along the route the heroic rescue of the stranded passengers of the Dunedin Star will unfold. Another species that is endangered and that forms part of a rescue programme to protect them are the desert lions. If we are lucky we will cross their path. Monthly departures, contact us for the programme.
The name of the tour is descriptive in that you will see different aspects of the Namib Desert while crossing it from east to west. The thrill of dune driving is addictive, but you will also enjoy the vast open spaces, changing colours of the dunes and camaraderie with other group members. The tour departs from Solitaire and ends in Walvis Bay.
Luderitz to Walvis Bay (4 x 4) (family) (camping)(catered) This tour commences in Luderitz, following a route parallel with the coastline ending about 650km later in Walvis Bay.
