The Breakfast Run

A chauffeur driven sidecar experience to blow away the stress!! Depart mid afternoon from Cape Town (or selected venue) and travel to the Elgin Valley. Settle in and enjoy a delicious meal at this popular venue, the Tri Active Lodge, partying your way towards midnight (or after). The next morning, we depart the lodge and take a scenic drive over Houwhoek Pass, through Kleinmond and Betty’s Bay to enjoy a breakfast at a local restaurant on this scenic coast. Return along the coastal route to Gordon’s Bay and back to your original destination. (Can do this activity as half day or as a sleep over. Can also do a peninsula ride or a ride through historical Darling with breakfast or lunch.) We can assist with creative invitations and handling the RSVPs.

Palmiet River Rafting or Tubing

The Palmiet River tumbles through the Fynbos covered mountains of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, just outside Kleinmond, about an hour's drive from Cape Town. A friendly stream during the summer months, winter rainfall turns the river into an exciting white water adventure. At medium and high water levels we offer thrilling white water rafting in two-person inflatable 'crocodiles’ or four person rafts and at low levels we offer tubing trips on inflatable 'gekos'. The Palmiet River Experience is suitable for all ages and skill levels - we provide qualified and registered guides with an intimate knowledge of the river and its environment and instruction on how to steer your craft. Light lunch can be included and transfers to and from Kleinmond.

Pirate Ship Cruising the high seas

Take a two hour cruise on a pirate ship from the V&A Waterfront with lunch buffet, snacks or BBQ onboard. During your cruise, with an element of surprise you may be attacked by “pirates”. They’ll board the boat, capture the skipper and take over!!! A lot of fun - see how you get home with the Jolly Roger hoisted above – perhaps they’ll take you captive and go in search of treasure! Entertainment can also be provided at extra cost. We can assist with creating interesting invitations and also handle RSVPs.

Ready-Steady-Cook

This activity is the ultimate cooking challenge where teams are limited by making them produce mouth-watering dishes with a bag full of mismatched groceries in a set time. The contestants are set up with a full cooking station and implements and the mystery ingredients are revealed to the “chefs” in each team. The facilitators pile on the pressure and when the time's up, the judges test the food and vote which team did the best job based on imagination, presentation, taste, team spirit and team work. It is fast, furious and frantic and a lot of fun. It’s a non-physical and enjoyable activity, great for mixed groups. Transfers can be arranged to and from Elgin and cook off will be hosted at the Tri Active Lodge or alternative venue can be sourced. We can assist with creating interesting invitations and also handle RSVPs.

Themed Evenings

Recreate the feeling of being in the tropics with our Mauritian themed evening. Go on safari and get “khaki” fever. Rock ‘n Roll, Feathers and Fame, Black and White, Casino nights and many more. Menus can be created to fit the theme or you can select from our wide range of existing menus to complement your theme. Dress up, play the part and dance the night away! Bring in the Dire Straits theme for those die-hard fans where a Dire Straits lookalike expertly entertains with all the old favourite tunes. Themed dinners can be arranged at the Tri Active Lodge, Elgin, which is great for fun evenings like this, away from the city and where your group can make as much noise as they like for as long as they like. Alternative venues can be sourced if necessary. Transport to and from the venue can also be arranged, as well as funky invitations, gifts, snacks on board the coaches, etc.

“Medieval” Survivor Games

Survivor games dressed as a King, a Knight or a Peasant? Does that sound like your type of team? Enjoy the hilarious results as you dress up in the costumes provided for a set of Medieval Survivor Games. Penalties are given for losing items of your fancy dress along the way. The King (can be the boss or the cleaner) has the prerogative to shackle any tribe members during an activity. Do stocks and custard pies come to mind? Outrageous? You bet. This is a great fun way to end the year and for staff to mingle outside of the office. Can include a braai, spit braai, buffet meal with the activity and also transport to and from venue (we suggest Tri Active Lodge in Elgin for a great day in the outdoors away from city stress.).

Cape Town’s secret tunnels

Discover the Secret Tunnels below the City of Cape Town. Parts of the underground Canals and Rivers date back to 1652. They used to supply the Company Gardens and the passing ships with fresh water. Later these rivers flowing through the city became pleasant walk ways shaded by Oaks with bridges going over them. Cape Town had its own Gentleman’s Walk and was known as little Amsterdam. As the years passed and the City expanded the Canals were used to transport sewerage until 1895 by when they were all arched over and forgotten. Today these historic Canals with their impressive architecture convey the sweet waters of Table Mountain and some Spring Water into the ocean. Follow the river of our culture and heritage that runs of Table Mountain to the Castle of Good Hope. This educational and historic tour will inspire your imagination. A thrilling experience and adventure.
